Has anybody received an email supposedly coming from O2

It says

We're currently upgrading our system, your request to upgrade your account is
very important to us.

and it comes from [edited]

These emails are often going the rounds, as long as you don't respond you should be safe.

One of the biggest clues as well - is that the email does not address you by name - simply as "User". Official emails would always use your name, unless it was a simple marketing email which would not require you to "sign in" or "register" anywhere.

I've had 4 of these emails in the last week. The clue for me was they'd obviously copied and pasted the information we recevied about getting our £10 voucher, put it into their email but the rest of the text is a slightly different font and size! And there's some text at the bottom about customer services which is all bunched together and spaces missing etc! Very dodgy! Unfortunately i'm sure there'll be a few people think its genuine and follow the links! slight_frown
