Hi folks Those of you who followed my story will know I was sad when I didnt reach the criteria for a Hearing Dog for the Deaf.
Ive now been offered a Sounds Support Dog. The process is underway but could take a while .

Loki is now 3. He's using the Primo phone from 02 as an alarm. He wakes us by hearing the alarm, then puting his paws across the bed.... For a treat of course!

Hi Best Wishes for the New year from us all.
We 3 are settling into a routine . Loki will alawys need 1 hours off lead a day, which can take 11/2 hours depending on where and which weather we need to hide from. Then theres feeding, grooming and sometimes blanket drying and dog drying to do.
Loki loves walks and water , inc sea, tho no swimming yet. Restaurants, cafes and church.
Hes not allowed in shops like a fully fledged Hearing Dog but as he adores food maybe that is just as well.
Weve had 2 parties for 11 and 13 people and behaved well. Hes learnt yo tell me about the cooker timer, morning alarm clock , we are working on the doorbell and smoke alarm.
The realisation of how much time this all takes dawned quickly but it is a lot of fun despite the rain !! he he
