Top Gear died when the old crew left as far as I'm concerned.

I was prepared to give it a go as I actually like Chris Evans.....but I didn't like it much. It didn't work...Also I dont think it should be left to Matt LeBlanc to run. It's UK show so we need a good Brit...(if they haven't all fled the country...but that's a different story...)

Now I've not watched any of the new series (no time) but...

The problem they had was that they tried to do the same thing with different people. And Evans is no Clarkson, despite trying to be.

From what I have read/heard, the lack of interaction between Chris and Matt is dire not helped by Chris throwing him under a bus about the cenotaph stunt...

Saying that I will watch them at some point and I will see what the old lot are up to on their new show as well.

The old team just gelled and interacted brilliantly with each other. Throwing a couple or three people together and expectations of a similar format was never going to work. People will always compare to the original and the way viewing figures reached an all time low was testament to that.
