o2 Coverage at Hay on Wye for the Hay Festival

Hi folks,

There are thousands of visitors coming to Hay on Wye for the Hay Festival in just under two week.

The 02 coverage is very very poor, infact non-existant.

Are 02 going to deploy a temporary mast as they did a few years ago, as there is always mutterings amongs the social media sites that the O2 Mobile network is not very good ( ive cleaned up the language)

I wonder if 02 can respond, as I recall Chris Evans mentioned it during his broadcast on Radio 2 from the site last year!

I have to say all the other network operators have excellent coverage inc three, where we have full 3G on site!!

Not sure O2 will respond here unless one of the media team have information. (It's a customer forum.)

Really the event organisers are the ones who should have been pushing O2 to supply one of their temp base stations.

O2 do normally support these type of events where there are large gatherings and I am sure the organisers would have approached them.

Hi,

the Festival Organsiers have made contact, but O2 have yet to committ to putting any coverage in for the Festival.


Noting this is a customer forum, but being a customer, and Im aware of thousands of people who tweet their complaints to the guys at the Hay Festival, there should be something you can do.

Its not helping, the work that 02 are doing.

if you check the Twitter Feed for Hayfestival,. the team there are trying to help 02, but you would of thought as this is a high profile event, with the Telegraph/Sky/BBC and other promoting the event. something can be done :
