THE DOG RULES
(1) The dog is not allowed in the house
(2) OK the dog is allowed in the house but only in certain rooms
(3) The dog is allowed in all rooms but has to stay off the furniture
(4) The dog can get up on the old sofa only
(5) Fine ! The dog is allowed on all furniture but is not allowed upstairs ...
(6) OK The dog is allowed upstairs but not on the bed with humans
(7) The dog can sleep between us & share the pillows
(8) Humans must ask permission to sleep on the bed with the dog

@Anonymous I've seen similar rules, but for a cat! I can't seem to find it now though - maybe someone else can? It was something about allowing them on the table and feeding them at 5 am.
Wanted to share this screenshot. My cat Arthur wanted to write his own topic on this board. Sadly, I had to moderate and say it was not an appropriate topic name or place... then he lost interest and went to climb the cat tree instead.

At least you got that far. My old lad Bugsy has become a bit of a lap cat when he comes indoors. Only my lap by the way. He purrs which is lovely but then starts padding and last time turned my laptop off !!
