Does anyone know of any recipes that use Tamarind powder? i've seen the paste mentioned, but so far haven't seen a recipe usind the powder. Apparently it has a sweet- sour taste.

I use tamarind paste to change the flavour of home made curries and tagines.

I love a good Thai Green Curry but I'm afraid the versions served up in the UK bear no resemblance to the authentic Thai dish.
