Ok I saw something cool in the papers the other day and thought it would make a great start to a "brain teaser" thread.

Here goes:

There is a simple reason why 2 baby siblings are both the eldest. What's the reason?

I spent some time trying to figure it out and could not. I was better at these when I was a kid!

Although, as I stopped drinking coffee, it could be that I just haven't had enough caffeine to function properly.

How do you get 24 from 9, 6,11 and 3 using addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.
