Having great fun today and all other jobs and duties delayed until further notice!

My new Chromecast device has arrived along with the installation of Virginmedia broadband (speeds around 100 Mb) I could be otherwise engaged for quite some time 

It seems strange streaming photos, videos and your laptop onto a 40 inch TV....

@jonsie If the installer didn't do it (they normally don't) then connect your Tivo up to your superhub using a cat5 (network) cable so you can then manage the recordings, wishlists, thumbs up/down etc. from PC phone or tablet.

The engineer did it for me so I can use the app on the phone and tablet so no problems there. I am a little disappointed at just how few channels are available to watch on Virgin Anywhere. Hopefully more will be available on a regular basis but on that particular point they lag far behind their biggest rival.

I had a look in my garage earlier. I found a small electrical device called an ultraglide. Apparently you warm it up and put the hot metal onto clothes but it doesn't burn them.

Didn't realise that was different to putting it on my arm. Oops
