I read about that on Wikipedia, it said there are Lantern-parades and fireworks, but they didnt mention fires.

So it's kinda the same as our St Martin, just another guy's responsible for it slight_smile

Do kids get sweets on that day?

1993 act 😞

http://smokecontrol.defra.gov.uk/

I think they only bother to enforce it with complaints being made. I doubt they actively look for perpetrators.

To be honest if never really thought twice about it until I got the fine haha:(

I think your right, my dads in a no smoke zone, but he has a log burner in his garage he fires up every day in winter. Gota keep them cars warm.. 😛

St Martin

Just came back from today's fire (St. Martin).

The wood was around 2 meters high at the beginning. That's what's left slight_smile
