What is the O2 Community`s FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS SONG and FAVOURITE CHRSTMAS CAROL ?

 

Here is your chance to vote for your FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS SONG and FAVOURITE CHRSITMAS CAROL.

Below are two lists - 20 Christmas Songs; and 10 Chrsitmas Carols - compiled from threads and posts on this Community and online opinion polls.

 

Please cast your votes for both - and  post,  on this thread,

your Top 5 - in numbered order, from No 5 to No 1 [your favourite] for both

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS SONG and for FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS CAROL.

 

Voting is open from now until Thursday 23 DEC at 12 NOON.

I will award 5 points for every No 1; 4 points for No 2; 3 points for No 3; 2 points for No 4; 1 point for No 5 in each section - Favourite Xmas Song and Favourite Xms Carol - and announce the charts on Xmas Eve 24 Dec;

I guess the John Lennon one is truly my favourite Xmas song ever and it's followed close by this joyful and funky Xmas tune:

In the late 60's @RafaC  we had booked to see him along with Little Richard, Chuck Berry and other soul groups (including Bo Diddley.) Unfortunately Little Richard was ill, so they cancelled the UK tour! 😭

I can't imagine how disappointed you guys were at the time!
At least Little Richard got better after all slight_smile

I looove Bo Diddley, I wish I had the chance to see him playing live. I was lucky enough to see Chuck Berry live once and also Fred Wesley and the (New) JB's (as you probably know they were James Brown's backing band for a few years). 

But oh my, that line-up you've mentioned is a dream line-up. Can't get much better than that.
