Britain`s Got Talent is back with Britain`s Got Talent - The Champions, which kicked off on Saturday night.

The series will feature acts from past series of Britain`s Got Talent and its counterparts from other countries.

Each week, two acts will go through to the final - one "Golden Buzzer", chosen by the judges or Ant and Dec; and one chosen by superfans from various countries.

In the first programme, none of the former Britain`s Got Talent acts made it through to the final three.

The act which nabbed Amanda Holden`s Golden Buzzer was Kseniya Simonova – a former winner of Ukraine’s Got Talent, who makes stunning pictures and images using only sand.

The act voted through by the superfans was daredevil duo Bello and Annaliese Nock, who previously had appeared on America’s Got Talent.

I found the programme was an entertaining mix. I loved Kseniya`s stunning images and think she was a worthy winner.

In my opinion, if the talent of the two winning acts is anything to go by, this should be a thoroughably watchable and enjoyable series.

Did anyone else watch it? What did you think?

No point doing spoilers now as Emilie is off next week.

I honestly though Simon was holding out for Colin to give the golden buzzer to. (Particularly when he failed to give it to Issy)

Pretty poor show all in all.

Its on again next week....but who is left with the golden buzzer?

Aleisha Dixon is the only judge still to award the Golden Buzzer = next week [week 5]

So far, Gold Buzzer has been awarded as follows:

week 2 - Ant & Dec to Alex Laubenburger - dog act

week 3 - David Walliams to Paddy & Nico - salsa dancers

week 4 - Simon Cowell to Stavros Flatley - comedy dance duo

Superfans have put through to the final:

week 1 - Bello & Anneleise Nock - US daredevils

week 2 - Merseygirls - UK dance group

week 3 - Darcy Oake - Canadian illusionist

week 4 - Preacher Lawson - US comedian

@Cleoriff

The final will be on 5 October 2019.

I have not been able, so far, to find out exactly how the voting will go. But, as newspapers previously said the show is recorded, it looks like there is no chance of viewers voting.

Also Amanda Holden has revealed on her radio show on Heart, only 250 members of the audience are chosen by the show`s producers as the superfan`s to vote for act to go through to the final. 250 out of approx audience of 10,000 and the millions watching at home.

Well I'm annoyed about that!

Let's face it, the Final should be the viewers voting. If not I don't feel involved in this at all!!

Collabro were good. Twist and Pulse not so much. Not sure I remember any of the other BGT contestants...
