Awakening Sleeping BEEuties

From last year they were Sleeping Beeuties 2018 to

This year 2019  again these little kind and sweet bees have caught me unaware and when I opened

the sleeping box there were a few anxious looking faces!  So up went the boxes sharpish

and they were put on top to feel the fresh air and off they flew ~ they'll be back always

to the same spot they first remember.

These are the boxes facing South in the hot sun.  

This is a box with                                                                                 an emerging bee under the release box top.

Wildlife have no respect for photographers!

Bet that bee was glad you helped it. I saw 1 butterfly yesterday keeping my eyes opened for them let you know.

Thistles on the beach. 

Was too windy to catch the bees and butterflies that were about unfortunately.

Hi @BOSSGOGG thanks for the photo the detail is fantastic can nearly touch the thistle. Pity you couldn't get a butterfly, currently looking out for them because alarmingly I have only seen about 2 so far.

I watched a programme about The Ritz Hotel last night.

They have their own bee hives on the garden roof.

They use the honey to make dishes which cost a ridiculous amount of money. They also sell the honey in jars. Nothing added and it only lasts 3 days.

The head chef said you pay for the Ritz experience ... (Not at that price I won't!!)
