Another rollercoaster crash

Apparently the rollercoaster cars fell on a childrens roundabout ride underneath....:smileysad:

I see the latest news is saying 10 injured and some are children....

The autorities really need to clamp down on safety inspections.

8 children and 2 adults remain in hospital. No update on their condition. When the chief of police arrived he said "On arrival it became clear a series of five gondolas connected on a train on the Tsunami ride had detached from the rails, struck the superstructure and then struck the ground"

Apparently it is not the first time the park has experienced problems with its rides, including Tsunami.

Nine passengers, including children, were stranded for eight hours on the ride in July 2011 when it came to a halt 60 ft above the ground. The malfunction was blamed on a broken lift chain.

In March, eight people had to be rescued by firefighters when the park's Tornado rollercoaster ground to a halt 20 ft  in the air.

So yes...a full investigation should be carried out...and I hope the park is closed down!

It should be closed @Cleoriff There have been a few accidents..and quite a few 'incidents' that didn't make the news x
