Pizza express voucher

I won the blue Monday pizza express voucher and went to my local pizza express Friday night and the worker who served me said that the code was invalid as it was not a qr it just showed my unique claim reference. It was really disappointing as we then had to pay the entirety of the bill instead of £20 discounted. Has anyone else had this issue? Really upset!

I think someone mentioned earlier this month about one Pizza Express refusing to honour any code as they hadn't been informed about the promotion.

If that's the case, it's pretty poor management. Also humiliating for customers.

I tried to use mine at a takeaway only unit in Swansea but the nice man said the code wouldn't work.

The other nearest Pizza Express in Cardiff or Carmarthen which I don't go to

Are these meant to be time sensitive? The email I printed out says until31/12/2026. Can I use it anyday?

Another 02 priority reward that isn't relevant to our area or life. You gave away UBER vouchers as well but we don't have UBER in Neath. It really feels like the blue monday 'rewards' aren't really worth entering
