Pizza express voucher not working!

Tried to redeem my £20 voucher yesterday in pizza express, staff members said they’d never seen these before as had to be a qr code? Code wouldn’t work and had to pay full price…. Anyone got any ideas what I should be doing with the code, the staff don’t seem to have a clue. This was at MacArthur Glen outlet in East Midlands

Had that before on another platform many moons ago, as the codes come from Pizza Express so would definintely reach out to them direct via Twitter or via the link I shared..
