I always raise a glass to the Riojasaurus even though they didn't have much bottle because they were herbivores. 🙂

For me it's the Archaeopteryx (Old wing) as it was the forerunner of the feathered bird era. Without Archaeopteryx we would have no birds, so it's the dinosaur of choice for me.

My Favourite Dinosaur would have to be a Crocodile (Crocodylia order). It is the only one Surviving Dinosaur.

And the only species (23 sub species) that us Humans have not been able to destroy.

Mines the the Irritator as it reminds me of the wife.
After a long, hard day in the lab, paleontologists need a way to vent their pent-up frustration. Take Irritator, which was named by a, well, irritated researcher who had wasted valuable time chipping away the plaster added to its skull by an overeager amateur. Despite its moniker, though, there's no evidence that this close relative of Spinosaurus was any more annoying than other theropods of its kind.

My Favourite dinosaur- and this will be slightly controversial- is the bird!.

Fossil records and genetics have both proven that birds are modern day feathered dinosaurs.

They evolved form early feathered theropods and ,beleive it or not, their closest living realtives are crocodiles.

It doesnt get any cooler than that! Your garden Robin is related to the crocodile!

Evolution Baby!

My sons favourite dinosaur is the Indominous-Rex for Jurassic world , but his favourite real dinosaur is the T-Rex because of his tiny arms and it’s the biggest carnivore! (As told to me by my 7 year old dinosaur mad enthusiast     Ethan )
