Hi all,

Just wondering whether Caffe Nero is still available to use on 02 priority? From 9/5 it's showing a free Greggs coffee but not Caffe Nero.

Hope someone is able to help? Many thanks

Caffe Nero is no longer available at the moment @pinner1973

I have no doubt they will bring it back again but we don't know when.

I got my free Nero coffee last week. Then yesterday evening I checked the O2 priority app again the app stated that it is only available once a month. I wonder is the new Greggs daily hot drink replacing the old Nero weekly deal we were all used to? Perhaps o2 priority should  confirm the reasoning for this?

@Dab2899 I have a feeling Cafe Nero can either no longer afford to offer a free drink, or its because the contract ended and Cafe Nero have renegotiated, and the fact for a lot of people the nearest Cafe Nero is over 10 miles away and in some cases non- existent (for me its 30miles away) and Greggs is 1mile away....

Things change and offers end, move on...

Yes, I get it, times change, offers expire, etc etc.  So why are O2 still advertising the Cafe Nero free drink “Monday to Thursday” in the “Eats” offers?  All week my phone has said available from Thursday 10am.  So I’m passing my local Cafe Nero at 10.45 today (coincidentally) and think about the offer.  Open my phone and it says “Out of Stock”.

if O2 can’t fund this offer anymore, stop advertising it. Annoying.

@StevieD1

It was available to me at 12 noon, but I chose the Greggs Offer as that is opposite the office, next to where a Cafe Nero used to be...

it is an offer to draw customers into Cafe Nero, and hopefully get you to spend more money.. So its probably Cafe Nero realising that they weren't actually getting much in return for the offer.

Also it is upto Cafe Nero how many they offer, and not o2..

Really?  I would have thought O2 would be funding it, no?  Cafe Nero can’t be giving away thousands of coffees every week surely?

It is upto Cafe Nero how many free drinks they offer, the same as o2 decide how much they want to pay to the overpriced coffee chain for the number of drinks Cafe Nero say they want to provide, bearing in mind o2 will pay probably £1 per drink and not the usual £3 odd that consumers pay...  so Cafe Nero probaby make no profit...

At the end of the day, o2 and Cafe Nero have decided its a limited time and limited quantity offer and as has always been once they have gone they have gone...

So tough luck you lost out...
