VIP suite tickets to see Diana Ross

I received a text message from something called 02 Gosling saying I'm a provisional winner of a pair of VIP suite tickets to see Diana Ross at the 02 in London. I have already entered the Diana Ross competition on 02 Priority and was told I am not a winner.

could this be a scam?

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.

I'm unsure of it being a scam as O2 staff use the O2 name when they call. Although the words |Provisional winner do not sound right to me. You have either won or you haven't?
