I can log in on my computer to My O2 with my username and password with no trouble at all but cannot do so on the app on my mobile phone! Why and how to rectify?

Try uninstalling the app
Reboot the phone
Download the app again

Lots of problems at the moment caused by O2 updating systems
Try deleting the app then switching your phone on and off before reinstalling the app.
