Logged on to My O2 today and was greeted by a return/exchange screen. When I look at my active accounts I have my mobile number as one account and 'Your alias' as another...? Any information as to what 'your alias' is?

Never seen that one before, it might be so you can add a name to the sim card, such as Ultra S23 etc
But it does sound like you have been or in the process of been migrated to the new billing system

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

I have the same issue. It's taken me months of being unable to view bills or do anything else online to realise that when I log on, it defaults to this phantom "Your Alias" account.
Appreciate the suggestion to contact CS but sadly that might as well be a suggestion to contact the Man in the Moon, as O2 don't believe in providing anything even vaguely resembling CS...

Indeed, a perfect example of O2's contempt for it's customers. Host a forum but refuse to participate in it.
Just for a laugh I did send the query to their Facebook page to be met with:

Lots more niggly differences between old/legacy and new MyO2, as well as whether you are using the MyO2 App or MyO2 web, @CO4: https://accounts.o2.co.uk/signin - eg, here:
