Hi, I am looking for some help. I have made changes to my airtime plan in February this year. I have had a look at my contract for my phone and it looks like its up around the 30th July this year. I took out a 3 year contract with Virgin at the time, starting 30th July 2021. I was wondering if you could tell me how I can upgrade my phone without changing my airtime contract? Thanks

If you wish to keep your airtime, you need to buy a phone outright from somewhere and just use your sim in it.

Any upgrades with O2 require a new airtime tariff to go with it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

The only way is to pay for the phone outright and keep current airtime.

Just to add, changing your tariff does not affect the end date of your contract, so your airtime will expire at the same time as your device plan still.
