Hi,

I am constantly receiving an email apparently from 'O2 WiFi' asking me to confirm my email address!

Is this a scam or real? As clearly O2 know my email address already so why are they asking!

Many thanks

Rob.

The o2 WIFI platform is separate, so it does when registering on some of the networks need you to register, but without seeing the email, its hard to know.

They are asking you to confirm it, not asking what it is.

Confirmation is required for services signed up to by someone using your email.

If you haven't registered on any wifi hotspots, just ignore it, but if you have, you need to click the link in the email to confirm the email address given is correct.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
