Mast issue affecting signal at home

For the last 2 - 3 weeks I have had poor reception and download issue due to network issue.  I have received update text to say still working try to fix in next 7 days. Should I expect some compensation? 
should I move from O2 to another network?

You may get some compensation if you ask nicely but it won't be much.

No network is fault free so expect issues whichever you are with.
