I can't log in because the process requires a passcode sent to phone and my phone has stopped recognising my O2 Sim. I wanted to log in to upgrade and get a new Sim. How can I access my account online without a phone security code?

Yep, only just introduced by O2. We warned them but they wouldn't listen.

Please remember to take photographic identification (photo ID) with you ! 👍
Clearly, this will not be the answer if it is your physical handset rater than your SIM that has become defective.
