I have decided to leave 02 and was given my PAC yesterday which I have given to my new provider. My sim has arrived but I've not put it in yet. I've been told today on a chat that I also have to contact O2 to cancel, but in the message it also says when I ask for the PAC and give it to my new provider, this will cancel my O2. I can't get through to this online chat link I've been given as says no connection. So I'm given different information
. Can anyone advise?

@Westpip

As soon as your new provider processes the PAC and ports in your number, your O2 contract will be cancelled automatically.

Your final O2 bill will also be created at this point so don't cancel your direct debit until it's paid.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Your new provider will text you a changeover date which is the date your O2 contract will also end

Any fees up to that date will need to be paid
