Free unlimited minutes not working

Hello, I have been given free UK unlimited calling minutes until the end of this month. However when I try to make calls they do not go through, so I do not have access to these minutes.

Would you be able to assist with this?

@JN13  From what we've been told the free minutes offer has been extended. Turn your phone off and then back on and then see if you can make calls.

I switched my phone off and on but I still can't make any calls. I had the same issue last month when free minutes were provided

How did you resolve it last month?

I didn't get to resolve it, I wasn't able to reach anyone through calling O2
