Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to sort out ending a phone number/data on one device on your account.
I currently have my phone, an Apple Watch and my mum’s iPad.
I want to cancel/ end the phone number and data usage associated with my mum’s iPad as she never used it so I’m basically paying it for nothing. I’ve paid off the full device plan so I’m only paying for data she has never used.
I’d like to avoid calling customer service as I haven’t heard the best reviews on it and I’m afraid that they’ll mistaken me and cancel the entire account with my phone as well.
i haven’t got access to the number either so i can’t get access to the STAC code.
can anyone help?

Easiest way is to take the SIM from the iPad and put it, temporarily, into the phone in place of the phone's plastic SIM, then use the phone to text STAC to 75075 – you'll receive your code within 60 seconds. If you're looking to end your contract but not switching to another network and don't want to keep your number, especially with a multi-line account, you'll need to contact O2, no way around it. You could also take your tablet and some valid photo id and visit an O2 shop. Guide: Cancelling Your Contract explains about STAC, and Guide: How to find help & contact O2 has the ways to contact O2. If you use Social media, you may be able to avoid the call, but only on either of
