My O2 cell phone number is 07707******.  I need to receive email to SMS messages from a USA source. To do so they state the following:

Enter your cellular Phone Number followed by the @ and then the email domain of your carrier. For example 7703456789@vtext.com is a Verizon cell phone number and Verizon's email domain.

I assume the number will be 447707******?

What is O2's Carrier?

What is the Carrier’s email domain?

O2 no longer support this function.

You'll need to Google for a third party to handle this for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you for the quick response. I regret that I wouldn't know what to start searching for. Is there a starting point or key phrase that might help?

2 years later and there are only external paid-for services.

I remain surprised that O2 haven't picked this up as part of a bundle offer.

I know there are technical challenges, but stripping the text from the crud of an HTML email is not beyond the wit of woman or man.
