Do I need to update my Sim?

HI there.  I have an O2 sim in an iPhone 12 mini.  I've had the sim for longer than 4/5 years.  I live in the U.A.E. and so I only use my sim a couple of months of the year.  I've noticed that my reception whilst in the UK is pretty rubbish, could this be because i need to update my sim and if so how should i do that?

You can update your sim once you are back in the UK. The best way is to go into an O2 shop with ID and the staff will probably change it for you. Or you can ring O2 on 202 and ask them to send you a new one.
