Device not showing on My O2 products and services page

When I logged into my online account on the "My O2 products and services" page it showed the details of my phone - "Iphone 4"  below my phone number.

I changed to an Iphone 6 about 2 months ago and it doesn`t show any device details at all now. Iphone 4 has gone but does not show Iphone 6.

Anyone know why and how to get the details of the device on there again.

No other details at all have changed and telephone call to O2 and on line chat didn`t resolve the matter.

Thanks, Wayne.

Hi @Wayneoh

Are you not able to manually input device details into My O2?

If not then you have to persevere with customer services I'm afraid. Try calling and not live chat

@Wayneoh Call customer service to see if your account needs resetting

Hi Cleoriff .

You can input a name for your device yourself but I believe the system should automatically recognise your device type, model, etc. and show those details as is did with my Iphone 4 previously and my wife`s new iphone 6+ on her account straight away.

You are correct although as I suggested above the account may need resetting to show the correct details

O2 have stopped auto recognition now and leave it to the customer to change manually.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Well it didn't automatically pick up mine @Wayneoh

I recently bought a Note 8 outright from Amazon (as I am sim only) My O2 recognised I no longer had the Note 4, so that disappeared. I was then 'invited' to add my device details.

If that didn't work for you then a call to CS should sort it...

Thanks everyone for the replies. Customer Services told me previously that it would "update after my next bill" which I didn`t have much faith in and obviously didn`t happen.

As I say, my wife`s new Iphone 6+ updated on her O2 account pretty much straight away but a couple of days later her old Iphone 6 with my SIM in it didn`t, and still hasn`t, updated on my account - just recognised trhat it isn`t my Iphone 4 any nore.

Device only shows up on your account if you bought your phone from o2 directly you can add it next to your phone number.

A recent change though. Neither my Note 3 or 4 were bought from O2 and they showed up in My O2.

My Note 8 had to be added by me...
