18+ verification sends confirmation code to a different number

Today I tried to verify my age because for some reason that's something I hadn't done yet. When I did I got to a prompt that says: "We'll send the texts to [number]..." and that I should then enter the code I get.

 

Only that's not my own number. I'm confused by this. Why is O2 sending a text to a completely different number to mine?

This is normally the master account on an account with multiple numbers. If this isnt the case then you need to call Customer Services on 202

That is most unsual. I only have one number on my account. I'll have to contact them then.
