people have got the phone already who ordered off the nokia web site, hopefully this week they will have all there pre orders shipped and they can start getting o2 some stock !
I don't think anyone has actually received their's yet. They have got shipping notification however there seems to be a lot of those (if not all) that shipping exceptions. It will probably be Thursday/Friday from the looks of it before they actually receive them.
In any case it is indeed great to see that they have at last started to ship these phones. Don't forget too that mobilephonesdirect have the exclusive rights to sell these phones first, excluding Nokias direct sales, therefore that would delay other retailers being able to take these (or at least that is the claim being made mpd).
On the 02 front they still can't advise when this will be stocked. They say there is still no official word from Nokia on a release date to retail. The best guess they can give me just there now is that it will be Dec and they probably will stock it.
Hopefully I will have an n900 before Christmas. Actually don't mind waiting a couple of weeks. Just enough time for the Nokia direct sales guinea pigs to give us their verdict on the phone (if you call it a phone)
