To all in the O2 community

Can anyone explain to me why i have to constantly keep logging in every 10 minutes. This is a tinny winny bit annoying.

Thankyou and will enjoy being in the community.

I thought that had been fixed, it seems to be ok for me as I've been logged in for a couple of hours now.

The timeout was extended a while ago at our request. I'm not sure why you need to login every 10 minutes. Anything between 30 minutes to an hour for me.  It is a security safeguard though.

One guy has been logged in for 3885 minutes right now. slight_smile

Could your connection be dropping as that would do it?

I wrote to him one time but he never replied. So I'm burning his posters.

My guess is if you have been dormant ie, not posted for x amount of time or not even looked at anything

Shouldn't make any difference, I've been logged in all day and left it for quite a while and still logged in, I think their connection had dropped.

Yes. I started a thread on here last year about this forum always logging me out after 30 minutes and I was so sick of keep signing in... I felt I would give up on it....

A few agreed and Toby 'reset the time out period'. The idea was security ......(in case someone accessed your MyO2) It was agreed that we would need to sign in to access MyO2  however many times we used it. So the forum log out time was extended. I stay online now until I physically log out
