iOS vs Android - let the battle commence!

So....... I don't come here often. But when I do, most know I'm a die hard iOS fanboy.

However, I did something strange yesterday and ordered the OnePlus 3T. From O2 naturally.

Here's the plan. I have 14 days to decide whether to keep the OnePlus 3T or revert back to my trusty iPhone 6s Plus. I am going to turn off my iPhone when I receive the new phone. Save for taking pictures of the new phone.

I'm going to keep a diary on here of my experiences and try to update it everyday.

Is there anything people want to know specifically or things people want me to address during this?

Yes, they could be. I'm not sure if you can on your phone but on mine I can choose to have them wake the screen or not. Although it's not a long time on it does wake the phone from deep sleep so it will take longer for it it go back into hibernation.
Also check email account settings and change the frequency they poll the server. Exchange accounts and those set to push will consume loads of battery, along with background app refresh etc.

Yes, system shows not awake, but we can see screen activated a few times whilst "not awake" which would wake. Also, WiFi Is SOLID so it's never going deep (teehee)
First thing to try..
Airplane mode overnight
Then
Normal mode overnight but disable WiFi scanning.
Then.. If battery life is drastically improved, keep the setting for WiFi scanning, if still same, factory reset to clear the rogue wakelocks

After the required system tweaks (that we can't mention) I'd install BBS https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asksven.betterbatterystats&hl=en
