However, I did something strange yesterday and ordered the OnePlus 3T. From O2 naturally.
Here's the plan. I have 14 days to decide whether to keep the OnePlus 3T or revert back to my trusty iPhone 6s Plus. I am going to turn off my iPhone when I receive the new phone. Save for taking pictures of the new phone.
I'm going to keep a diary on here of my experiences and try to update it everyday.
Is there anything people want to know specifically or things people want me to address during this?

Also check email account settings and change the frequency they poll the server. Exchange accounts and those set to push will consume loads of battery, along with background app refresh etc.

First thing to try..
Airplane mode overnight
Then
Normal mode overnight but disable WiFi scanning.
Then.. If battery life is drastically improved, keep the setting for WiFi scanning, if still same, factory reset to clear the rogue wakelocks
