giffgaff getting DDOS attacked (apparently)

Hey guys,

Don't know if anyone has mentioned but gg are apparently under attack from a DDOS... It's definitely been on and off for the last 24hrs+ but no word on what the cause is.

Somebody posted on the forums to make sure u were topped up as they were going to attack it...

Then it went down.

Yes the gg community wasn't too bad then it went down and came back up just a short while ago. I must have jinxed the O2 community though 😳 sorry

This was a weird one. You could access the forum but not sign in. A lot of connecting ...connecting....then timing out.

Well it looks like it's down again! That incapsula page comes up!

I've been told that the firm incapsula is a security form who specialise in DDOS attacks!!

It's been going on for too long now, seems that this threat was serious! They were on yesterday as well. Asking who giffgaffs rivals were, and they'd attack them too! From the language and style of writing, they came across as quite young.

Well the forum is definitely down, and tbh I've turned my gg phone off as it was getting annoying not working! I'll check now and see if there's a signal.

From all of the evidence available (my opinion only) it really does seem that it's the threatened DDOS attack continuing!

Argh just lost a whole reply, @Cleoriff the gg network seems to be working ok! So looks like it's just the community and logging in!
