Yodel

I just wanted to add my comments re o2 and Yodel.
Yodel are the worst company, BAR NONE, I have ever had to deal with and o2 are now a close 2nd.
After a week of contact with Yodel and o2, my first phone was classified as 'lost'.
Don't believe a word Yodel tell you and don't let them make you do all the work. I spoke 3 times to the alleged delivery driver - first time he said he would deliver at a specified time, he did not; 2nd time he hung up on me; 3rd time he moaned that his van had broken down.
I think o2 were trying to help to solve the problem, but nobody is empowered to do anything and getting through to the next level of people is like drawing blood from a stone. All you hear is 'We are so sorry' over and over again. They also don't seem to understand the word furious!
Replacement phone was promised for yesterday, nobody turned up (surprise surprise), o2 said sorry again (yawn!) and in the end, I got in my car and drove to Yodel in Borehamwood. I was not alone amongst the angry faces.
o2 appear to only use Yodel, so if you buy a phone off them to be delivered, you have basically had it!
My only advice is AVOID RUBBISH YODEL AT ANY COST, they will take years off you!

Can't say I am surprised as it is just DHL renamed. Luckily my phone was delivered on time, but the last (and I mean LAST) time I used DHL, the parcel was 5 days late because they sent it to the completely wrong city!

I am in no way recommending Yodel but on the other side of the coin, I ordered an item last Thursday from Amazon and it was delivered by Yodel on SUNDAY morning. Amazing service, I had no idea Yodel or any other carrier delivered on a Sunday.

I would hazard a guess though, that the whole SUNDAY thing is probably just for the festive season. I could be wrong though. 😐

I've been watching my tracking all day. Delivery to work address
At about 4.30 I called to see if it was likely to be delivered. "Yes, we deliver until 9pm".
At 8pm I called to see if it was likely to be delivered. "To be honest probably not, they will retry for three working days". Shame, but these things happen.
One last check of the screen before I go home...now says delivered at 19.55!! WTF? I'm in a big corporate office so no way a courier can wander off the street and accidentally leave it with the wrong person. At 19.55 the postroom is locked and the only way in is through the main entrance past security. Checked with security - nope, no phone, no one has tried to deliver one.
The Yodel courier has either delivered the phone to the wrong address - which is pretty hard since it had the company name on it as well, or signed for and stolen the phone.
