Why did I get an SMS?

I set my account not to receive any details about ANYTHING, yet I just got an SMS about O2 priority.

I DON'T want to receive what I consider to be spam messages, so why did I get this message?

If you have change or upgraded your tariff your contact preferences reset to default.
Check in your MyO2 under More >Contact Preferences to see if yours have been changed.
