Ok so here is the thing i was with o2 for 5 years everything great no problems but then i moved to tmobile ok but not as cheap as they first apear moved back to o2 in july this year and what a differance. What i want to know is this i have been with o2 for 3months and in this time i have had signal problems ie no signal at all, several times. surely this is enough for them to have breached there contract with me as they are not supplying the service i am paying them for.. I understand that occasionally things go wrong but even now the quality of the service is ridiculouse i cant hold a signal for more than about 5 minitues max and thats if im lucky im using an iphone 4s 16gb and have a contract for 2 years but what good is the contract if i can rely on the service provider to provide the service am i not within my rights to terminate the contract due to lack of service.....

If you are consistently without signal I would make your complaint official.
I think O2 would have to consider each case on it's own merit, petitions won't help and they won't make it easy to release you from your contractual obligations.
State your case and see what the response is.

Anyone out there AGAIN with no signal? A poor service consistently now week in, week out. Been sat here in BR3 area, 2 hours no service. I'm not paying for a service I am not receiving, fair enough, maybe once in a while, things and technology goes wrong - O2... Us little people get it!!! But I think if I'm having to make a notes of dates & times on my iphone when service is down, on a regular basis, something is very wrong indeed!! Yet on your coverage/signal web page, you ae saying there are no problems in my area?.... I think not!!. And before you ask, yes I've re- booted my phone several times!!! Fed up, also on October 12th from 5pm all night until the next day no service at all... Really handy when you have just stepped off a flight from Gatwick and need to make calls? Pure inconvenience again!!
I will be terminating my contract due to lack of service! Oh and £10 off my bill doesnt cut it.

Hi...
My signal is AWFUL! It's on - it's off - it's on - it's off!! What the heck is going on?? I agree with comments that id you can't use your device, what's the point in sticking with O2??
I'm SERIOUSLY considering moving provider - it's soooooooooo annoying!!!

Obvious thing to do isn't it. THEN the other posters should be ringing up o2 and reporting the issue. No point in whining about lack of service if you don't make the effort to report it. The plus point being is that it is evidence of a repeated fault and gives you more chance of exiting your contact. Without that evidence, you're onto a loser by posting on here.

Still cancelling their contracts will keep the debt collectors in work, it's an ill wind etc.
