Unable to use online chat with Safari 9

Online chat was arduous experience today as:

 

  • Chat window when first opened does not show all of text so you have to resize it
  • When you resize there are no scrollbars or wrapping of text so no matter how size you make dialog you still cannot see text
  • When you resize you lose the text box for your text
  • You can only see text box when you collapse dialog to smallest height, then the text box reappears
  • When you receive messages from the advisor if you have too many responses then the latest ones dissapear. There are no scrollbars so you can only see them by cursor keys which randomly work or doesn't 

So during my chat, I had to constantly resize window to add my response and then resize to see the advisor responses.   The UX was shocking to say the least. 

 

 

Browser details are:
