Look in the trash folder.

If it's been deleted from the trash then it's gone I'm afraid.

How do you open the trash folder?  I can't see how to open it!!!!!

What phone are we talking? Normally open it as you would any folder. You may find it listed as Trash, Bin or Deleted items dependant on the email provider you are using.

As MI5 said, you should come out of your "All Inbox" folder and back to Mailboxes. Then scroll down and go into your Gmail account folder. Then you should see all your Gmail folders inc Trash.
