Texts from 820202

Hi all

I have received a lot of texts from this number recently. All that the text shows is, 'Message cannot be displayed'. And the number given in the details is +447802000332.

Does anyone know what this is? I received a call from someone today who knew my name but before he started to talk about where he was from the call was cut.

Im thinking its maybe o2? My phone doesnt support MMS (its really bad) so thinking it could be a MMS from them?

Anyone?

Google the number.

Be very wary of opening or responding to any sms/mms messages you receive from unknown sources.

e mail o2 for clarification.

It's a number that O2 use to send messages about their services, you may also see 40202.

I believe it's also used to turn some services on and off.

Yes it's the message centre number for monthly contract and is the means by which you send/receive texts.

The number 820202 is not recognised by PhonepayPlus.Definitely ring O2 to see if its sales related or an outsourced company.
