I recently received a text apparently from O2, saying that I had been whizzing throiugh my data, and providing a link to Get the lowdown. I had in fact used very little data and this was a scam to get me to follow the link.
Coincidently I had last month, for the first time ever, requested additional data.
Could they have hacked this info from my phone or from O2, prompting the scam and how come the message came in on the same number as O2 texts?

Hi @Anonymous welcome to our forum! Thanks for posting about the text and your concerns - as our members pointed out above, we've checked this earlier and it seemed to be a legitimate text from O2.
