I'm not sure which board I should use, but I'd like to know what a "tag "is.
I have seen "tag" on Facebook, near a photo, and on O2.

It's either a name or word associated with the subject or picture

I believe tags are designed to improve the search function on site/ when googled.
Say a post is "tagged" with the word "fraud" then anyone searching for "fraud" would be shown threads that include tags such as fraud.
i believe its another way of improving the search engine by means other than just searching keywords in posts. For example some titles are very misleading and may appear in the search function despite having no relevance. The "tags" should help out with that Putting tagged posts matching the keyword at the top of results.
I could be wrong:(
