I just want to check something out.

This morning using laptop... I went in to edit a post and saw a new addition to the option box "revoke kudos"

I knew we had asked for it and thought wahey...Bouncy

However...when I tried the option box again this new feature had disappeared. slight_frown

I checked via mobile as well and still not there.

I checked with @viridis. It appears he has this feature Smiley Frustrated

So I am wondering who has the option to Revoke Kudos?.....As it appears Cleo's fleeting option to revoke...has been revoked....Confused

Sorry just thought ..one more question for @Toby and then I will leave it alone....

Is there a time out limit for revoking ...as per edit?.....

I would hate to think people could take them away months after they had given them  Confused

So if there is no timeout period then people can revoke kudos at any time...no matter how long ago they were given?....Smiley Embarassed

Not sure I would be happy about that.

I thought we asked for this initially so we could revoke kudos if we gave them by mistake...?

It's easy to hit the kudos button on the phone/tablet when actually wanting to reply. I think there should be a time limit the same as the edit time...

(Just playing Devil's advocate here) Shouldn't it be the choice of the person to give and revoke it at any time? I only ask this to hear your thoughts slight_smile

So a member upsets you with one particular post.....you go back and revoke every kudos you have ever given justifiably? No....

I totally agree with @jonsie on that one. It should be immediate or within a 90 minute timeout...

Not fair that it can be done on a whim because you have a 'fight' with someone six months down the line..

It would cause a riot I think...and a vast amount of bad feeling slight_frown

I'll have  a look into it guys, and I would love everyone's view on this!

I can promise you now though, it will never be immediate wink

Ok @Toby  just something else to consider. Giving kudos helps to raise your level in the community. (one of many aspects... I know that)....We know... we tried it if you remember with one member who hated the rank name ?

So...what happens to someone's level if kudos are removed in bulk....??

#justasking....
