I wonder if the difference is, I use laptop 99% of the time?

Only ever use my phone when out and have no choice @TallTrees 😂

Still not doing it @pgn @Cleoriff 

I went to settings. 

Using my mobile phone as per thought by Cleoriff not p.c.

The list going newest date and newest time then changes to date good but time not in correct order.

On checking my emails re your post, the email came in at 12.38.

So nothing wrong on my PC.

This is how my phone shows the listing recent first selected

9th Jan

13.08, 12.59, 12.23, 11.34, 11.25, 11.12, 

10.38, 09.56, then 12.39, 09.00, 09.33, 12.24, 8th Jan 21.54 back to 9th Jan. 10.27 10.13

The list is not consistent recent to older posts.

I am finding @TallTrees that new posts go to the top of the pile correctly. But subsequent posts don't move the thread upwards. Hence, things are sorted on the date and time of the original post.

 

That's on a laptop using Microsoft Edge.
