Question about Twitter / iPhone deal - not working?

Hi all,

I have a quick question about the new deal that o2 are offering in conjunction with Twitter - the free text service for selected followers and all @replies and DMs sent straight to the iPhone.

I set this up on the Twitter website last night, went through all the steps and texted the activation code to o2's number and it was all set up, funky dory.

I now receive texts from Twitter followers that I selected from my friends list. First of all, can I just confirm that this is free? I wasn't entirely sure that this was the service that is free...

Also, I don't seem to be getting any @replies sent to my iPhone as a text. I have had a few since last night, but no text message to inform me of them. I have re-looked at the "devices" section of Twitter's site and I have this option enabled, for @replies and Direct Messages. However - a no show on my iPhone. Just wondered if there was something I'm missing, that I have to do to set this up?

Twitter was having problems recently and is just getting back to normal.

I think it was a DDOS attack.

It should be up now though.

Receiving texts from Twitter is free.

So is my lack of text @replies perhaps connected to their attack?

If not, then I don't know what I am doing wrong! 😐

Thanks... I know how to use Twitter, I use it daily.

I just don't know why I am not receiving @replies on my iPhone.

There is an "Ask us" link on that page for people with problems.
