Ariel mis sold my wife a business account when she thought she was renewing with O2
O2 were not interested , and so when we got to 2 years , O2 would not talk to her , no interest in reverting to a personal account with O2 , She raised a complaint , and was told to wait 28 days ..
The account was moved the next day , with a new phone purchase with the new provider
Then my account came up for renewal - so due to their attitude I've left O2 as well
I appreciate that we are 'little people ' , but treat us like dirt and we'll walk

o2 wont be interested as you where not a customer of o2 direct, and sorry to say but you should not have accepted a contract from a cold call with out knowing the details.
Your only options would have been to do as you have done and walk away..

For every two who leave, two others will join.
If you want to stay with a MNO choices are shrinking, we will soon be down to three. Less incentive to get things right.

I've suffered poor service as well.
In fact one of the many items on my agenda tomorrow is to go to the shop in Town and question why I keep getting spam texts claiming to be from O2 saying I've won an Iphone 16 (which I don't want even if it was legit), also, IMO the Network isn't fit for purpose, the signal's naff in most areas of Sheffield.
Trouble is, I'm stuck paying off my device plan till towards the end of next April otherwise I'd cancel my contract and go with EE, I was with them about 17 years ago, only reason I left was because they didn't have the phone I wanted at upgrade time (Nokia 3510, I'd got a "thing" for Polyphonic Ringtones back then)
The biggest problem, as mentioned last week, is that I've been in the shop in Town for various issues, and they don't believe I am who I am because I don't carry ID other than my Bus pass and Bank card, neither of which they'd accept.
