The pixel 9 pro fold officially releases today and I'm yet to receive a dispatch email. Is anyone else in the same boat? This is my first time preordering a phone from O2 so I'm not sure if it's normal not to have received an email by now.

I'm in the same boat, pre-ordered a porcelain on the 14th of August and I still have not been provided an update. Order screen online is "pending" and customer services are as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle.
Latest update from CS this afternoon was "I will expedite the delivery so it will be sent out tomorrow, you will receive it monday", I call complete BS on that!

See that annoys me as they have told me numerous times its first come first served. I ordered 14th August. Like I'm happy for you but what on earth.

Ordered 2 devices, one for me and one for wife day after release show. We are on switch up so atleast have phones now.
Went to shop yesterday and they were being pulled from pillar to post and were like lost sheep!
Went back today as online store said they had stock and got told they got one phone in which wasn't a 512, and they had no-way of chasing mine.
Called CS and they said basically I am in limbo, as it's a switch up I won't get notified of anything till it's in store, and I can't cancel and get a 25y as they can't cancel till it's been delivered..
They did tell me I could take out a new contract and get the stores single 256gb unit tho....fml!
Useless and not even mention of a sweetener to say sorry
