Had a call on Friday shortly after a ‘PAC number’ request about why I was leaving and offering me a better deal ! I asked them to call back today but no response.
The number was 0344 826 0202
Just want to check if this is genuine call from O2 !

It's similar to an O2 number but mixed reports online https://who-called.co.uk/Number/03448260202

If you want to talk a deal with O2, just call 202 yourself to be sure who you are speaking to.

I've just rung it, and it tells me that they made a courtesy call, and that there was no need to call back but if help was needed, to call 202.

Yes, it was for either Carphone Warehouse or o2, but as of 31st March of this year, o2 is no longer available at Carphone.
