I recently noticed a speed enhancement while using O2's 4G+, and it seems to be B40 4G being deployed in more areas after the 5G launch.

What speeds have you all been getting on B40 4G / 4G+ on O2 - UK?

Also what are 5G speeds like??

Same here... I used to have less then 2mbps until a community petition forced them to turn on B1+B20 carrier aggregation!!! Now about 40mbps... One way to get them to boost speeds!

I'm not sure what the premium is for 5G but it can't be worth it when you get this on 4G

5g also needs the users to take advantage. So all you people with disposable income. Come on! 😁

It's like anything in the mobile communication; it's not valid until Apple make compatible handsets. Tell me I'm wrong?

On a more serious note. Apple have recently bought Intel's modem division and this will allow them to develop and deploy 5g modems easier.

Analysts are predicting iPhone 12 could be the one that introduces the 5g technology across the board. So that means with only oneplus, samsung, lg and Huawei being alternative brands as of now. They may be more that I don't know about.
